Charity of Choice – 2010-2011 Charity of Choice ASK Wellness Centre

The Daily News Boogie is a locally driven fundraiser meeting the needs of children, youth and families in the Kamloops area. This event is a home-grown, grassroots project and we invite applications to be the charity of choice for 2008. Our mandate is the following:

1. Children, Youth and low-income families: The Daily News Boogie is a locally driven fundraiser that provides support to local Kamloops programs and activities for children, youth and low income families. The population we serve is the above.
2. Community Health: The Daily News Boogie is a preventative medicine initiative with the goal of community health for all people of Kamloops.
3. For “all” paces : The Daily News Boogie is a unique, high energy, non competitive event that honours all ages, demographics, and “paces” to encourage health and asset building at the community level.

The philosophy of Boogie is to provide for its participants a positive experience that leads to self- acceptance and self confidence for all those who come out to experience it.

we are supporting KELLI for 2008 and 2009 and then the submission process will be open again.
